Parklands, Nairobi is a suburb of Nairobi divided into numbered Avenues. The name arises from the proximity of the area to City Park, Nairobi. It was established by the Colonial Government initially as settlement for Civil Servants and was in 1948 the most concentrated suburban district of Nairobi. Administratively, Parklands is a subdivision of the Westlands division of Nairobi.
