PJ Marsh (born Peter-John Marsh, February 19, 1980 in Calliope, Queensland) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League competition and for Queensland in State of Origin. He began his NRL career at Parramatta and played for the Eels from 2000 to 2001 before returning to Parramatta in 2005 following a three year stint with the New Zealand Warriors (2002-2004). His position of choice is at hooker, but he often plays half-back as well. PJ is also considered to be one of the fastest hookers in the game. He is named after his uncle, Peter John Marsh, who was killed in a car accident before PJ was born. Midway through the 2003 season he sustained a serious neck injury in a match against Parramatta which ruled him out for the rest of the season as well as the whole of 2004. On November 2, 2007 it was announced that PJ Marsh has signed a three year deal to join the Brisbane Broncos.[1]
