PAN Parks or Protected Area Network Parks are a network of protected wilderness areas in Europe. Established in 1997 under the auspices of the World Wildlife Fund, the programme aims to provide better long-term conservation and tourism management of those National Parks which were previously undervalued due to their location in remote and/or poorer areas of the continent.
