Owen Jennings is a former New Zealand politician. He was an MP from 1996 to 2002, representing the ACT New Zealand party. Before entering politics, Jennings was a farmer. Jennings was active in Federated Farmers of NZ, becoming National President in 1990. He served three years. He was a director of the Karamea Dairy Company, Atas Marketing Meat Ltd and Combined Rural Traders Ltd. He was first elected to Parliament in the 1996 elections, becoming a list MP. Jennings is now involved in an international charity, Bright Hope World, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
