Otisstraße is the name of the street in the Berlin district of Reinickendorf where the Otis Elevator Company has its German headquarters. The Senate of Berlin proclaimed the change of name from Flohrstraße to Otisstraße in 1956, recognising the merger of Flohr with OTIS in 1951. In 2004 to celebrate the 150th year of operations of the Otis Elevator Company, and to correct a long-standing error whereby the U6 line train station was named after Seidelstraße even though its entrance was in fact closer to Otisstraße, the station was renamed.
