"Other Side" is a song by Pearl Jam. It first appeared as a B-side on the "Save You" single. It can also be found as a B-side on the "Love Boat Captain" single. "Other Side" later appeared on the 2003 B-sides and rarities compilation Lost Dogs. It was recorded during the sessions for Pearl Jam's seventh album, Riot Act. The song has never been performed live.

Lyrical meaning

Jeff Ament discussed the song in the liner notes for Lost Dogs. He stated:

This one started off being for my mom and dad. They've been married for 42 years and they've been my biggest inspiration. Over the couple of years that I wrote and reworked it, it turned into me and P. Partnerships are hard, lifelong ones are just absolutely mind blowing.
