The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant (not to be confused with Denmark's Order of the Elephant) is the most awarded order of Thailand. It was established in 1861 by King Rama IV. The Order consists of eight classes:

  • Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class)
  • Knight Grand Cross (First Class)
  • Knight Commander (Second Class)
  • Commander (Third Class)
  • Companion (Fourth Class)
  • Member (Fifth Class)
  • Gold Medalist (Sixth Class)
  • Silver Medalist (Seventh Class)
