Orange is a bicycle manufacturer, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire in the UK. Orange produce a wide range of mountain bikes, ranging from the downhill 224 to the steel P7, descended from Orange's original Clockwork, named after the film. Orange have held the DH world championship in 2001 (Greg Minnaar), 2002 and 2004 (Steve Peat), as well as the women's under 21 DH world championship (Tracey Hannah in 2006). Orange pride themselves on hand crafting their top end models in their Halifax factory. The Patriot is one of Orange's best selling models and was the best selling performance mountain bike in Britain for several years. Orange now have dealers in 26 countries world wide. The name 'Orange' is derived from all-round range
