Opera, written by Buğra Uğur and Aysel Gürel, was the song performed by Çetin Alp & The Short Waves that represented Turkey at the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest, where it failed to get any points. The song was performed sixth on the night, following Per Lucia, of the Italian Riccardo Fogli, and preceding Remedios Amaya's Quién Maneja Mi Barca.
