Norheimsund is the administrative centre of Kvam, Norway. The village is located about 80 km (a one-hour drive) from Bergen on the northern side of the Hardangerfjord. One of the most famous waterfalls in Norway – Steinsdalsfossen (or rather Øvsthusfossen) – is located in Norheimsund.
