The Nashua Pride are a minor-league baseball team based in Nashua, New Hampshire. Since the 2006 season, they have played in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball (the "Can-Am League"), an independent league that is not affiliated with Major League Baseball or with the Minor League Baseball organization. Prior to the 2006 season, the Pride played in the Northern Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The Pride is the only team in history to win a championship in both the Atlantic League in 2000 and the Can-Am League in 2007. In 2007, long-time manager Butch Hobson was replaced with former Boston Red Sox outfielder Rick Miller. American skier Bode Miller played a home game for the team on July 29, 2006, and again on August 2, 2007. The Pride's current closer is former Red Sox reliever Rich "El Guapo" Garces.
