Controversies
Refrigeration issues
While all Naked Juice products are required to be kept refrigerated, the Protein Zone and Carrot Juice flavors have shown to be more prone to rot. The Naked Juice Company recommends that these juices stay below 42 degrees F, citing "temperature abuse" as the cause for this problem, [1] yet these juices remain well-refrigerated at the retailers they're sold at and at the home, and premature sour taste occurs before the expiration date.
Sexual harassment charges
The former marketing director of the company says she was sexually harassed while working there, and has filed a lawsuit claiming wrongful dismissal.[2]
