Mz Fontaine is the stage name of lesbian rapper Naomi Romeo. She was born in Guyana, South America June 1978. She moved to London in 1992 where she began her mission in life. Lesbian singer & rapper Mz Fontaine is a young, caramel toned, smooth talking gentlewoman. Mix this with her suave demeanour it is little wonder how she attracts the eye of the ladies be it straight or gay. With her fan base residing in the UK, Europe and overseas, her soft-spoken voice easily glides over the waters embracing her audience, further adding to her sex appeal. Mz Fontaine has been nominated for the Stonewall 2007 Entertainer Of The Year award of which she is honoured to be recognised for her works across the entertainment spectrum. Her first album New Era was released in 2003 and have crossed borders to reach an audience beyond her expectations. The released singles All U Deserve and If Sumday was featured on TV channels across the UK France and Switzerland. Including Channel U BEN TV and Passion TV Her second album Spoken Thoughts is due for release late 2007 with her first single of the second album Tick Tock already tipped as a favourite. Tick Tock has been featured on Showtime leading lesbian series The L Word and in the 2007 London Fashion Week She has made appearances on Channel 4's show Gay To Z; a show aimed at gay teenagers.
She has made appearances on Fast train to fool city aimed and young people involved in gun crime.
She has made appearances on You don't know me raising awareness of homophobic violence.
March 2007 Mz Fontaine embarked on the US HomoRevolution Tour. Touching cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, New México and Texas throughout the South West Of the United States. She was made Parton on Pride London summer 2006, she stands as the youngest and only Black patron representing the ethnic community One of her many humble achievements. Mz Fontaine has managed to condense her many environments onto one carefully crafted album. “Spoken Thoughts” is an album of love, music and LGBT issues fused on top of strong Caribbean bass lines, American Hip Hop joints and British Neo Soul connections.
