Muskegon County Airport (IATA: MKG, ICAO: KMKG) is a public airport located four miles (6 km) south of the city of Muskegon in Muskegon County, Michigan, USA. The airport has three runways. It is mostly used for general aviation but is also served by two commercial airlines flying prop planes to Milwaukee and Detroit hubs. The airport hosted an airshow called the Muskegon Air Fair until 2006. Due to declining attendance and budget deficits, the air fair was placed on hiatus for the summer of 2007. A motorcycle rally known as Muskegon Bike Time was created to take its place. Following the success of the bike rally the airshow was permanently cancelled by its organizing board in September 2007.
