Muhammad Mustafa Mero (Arabic:محمد مصطفى ميرو) (born 1941) was the Prime Minister of Syria from March 13 2000 until September 10 2003. He was appointed shortly before the death of President Hafez al-Assad apparently with the tasks of economic reforms and combating corruption. He was kept on by Hafez's son Bashar al-Assad but eventually resigned.
