Morning Sci-Fi (2003) is the second studio album by British breakbeat trance producers Hybrid. The album includes a hidden track titled "Lights Go Down Knives Come Out," which is hidden in the 'pregap' of the first indexed track and can be accessed by rewinding from beginning of the first track. Hiding a track in this manner is also known as the Track 0 method.

DVD: Morning Sci-Fi Bonus DVD

Includes the 40 minute 'Dishing Pump' documentary about their 2000 tour with Moby, interviews, and live concert footage from their performance at Dublin, Ireland in May 2003. The DVD includes a few Easter Eggs. One of these 'Easter Eggs' is the symphonic instrumental of their song Finished Symphony from their first studio album Wide Angle, which can be heard by accessing the Info menu. Another one, an unreleased mix of Higher Than A Skyscraper, can be accessed by selecting the Interviews menu and selecting the tree branch.

Trivia

  • "Blackout" is also featured in Kirsty Hawkshaw's second album Meta-Message.
  • There are two versions of "Blackout". The 6:30 min version, and a 9:46 min version. The 10 min version is featured on Hybrid Present Y4K album.
  • "Higher Than A Skyscraper" is featured in the video game Crackdown.
  • It is possible to rip the hidden track "Lights Go Down, Knives Come Out", by using the Exact Audio Copy (EAC) program, using the "Copy Range" function.
  • On Hybrid's website, an unreleased mix of "True To Form" & "Higher Than A Skyscraper", and the normal version of "Lights Go Down Knives Come Out" can be heard. It's possible to record these songs via recording tool, such as RecordPad Sound Recorder.
  • The music in "This is What it Means" is actually played in reversed. The voices in the track aren't.
