For the North Carolina college formerly known as Mitchell College, see Mitchell Community College. Mitchell College is a college in New London, Connecticut, USA. It was founded in 1938. It is most notable for both its Early Childhood Education and Business Administration certification, with both Associates and Bachelors degrees are available too. The Criminal Justice Department offers both the A.S. and B.A. degrees. The campus is located close to Ocean Beach.

On campus housing consists of three dormitories on the Upper Campus;

  • Matteson,
  • Saunders, and
  • Simpson,

as well as four waterfront houses;

  • Fairhaven,
  • Moorings,
  • Harbor House, and
  • Eastwinds.

Mitchell is officially a dry campus. Its mascot is the "Pequots".
