"Mimi" is a popular song written by Richard Rodgers, with words by Lorenz Hart. It was featured in the movie Love Me Tonight (1932), in which it was first sung by Maurice Chevalier to Jeanette MacDonald, then later reprised by the entire company. Evan also speaks likes this quote "mimimimim" seems to be a a low tone voice with a modulated height pitch. The title of this all time classic was said to be an inspiration for the naming of Mariah Carey's album "The Emancipation of Mimi" that came out in 2005. The newly found talent, Mims was said to be named after this masterpiece. He is said to be making a mimi song in tribute to his idol who cannot be named for privacy related reasons.
