Michael Cassidy (born March 20 1983, Portland, Oregon) is an American film and television actor. He attended LaSalle High School in Milwaukie, Oregon. Cassidy is perhaps best known for his role as Zach Stevens throughout the second season of the television series The O.C.; his character had an on-again/off-again relationship with Summer Roberts. Cassidy also has a role in the movie Zoom. In 2007, Cassidy starred as Cliff Wiatt in CW television program, Hidden Palms. [1] Cassidy will join the cast of Smallville for at least six episodes in Season 7 as new editor of the Daily Planet, Grant Gabriel, and possible love interest for Lois Lane.[1]

Michael Cassidy was also in a gay short film called "Dare". He portrayed as a high school popular guy, who had a short interaction with the "light boy" of the drama department.
