Melville Ezra Ingalls (1842–1914) was a Massachusetts state legislator who went on to become the president of the Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Lafayette Railroad. The railroad became part of the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad (the Big Four Railroad), and Ingalls served as president of that railroad as well.
