Matthew Theodore Holmes (born July 17, 1976 in Albury, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian actor. He gained an Advanced Diploma in Acting at the Actors College of Theatre and Television (ACTT) in Sydney.

Television Roles

Sea Patrol

Holmes is in the ensemble cast of the Nine Network Drama Series, Sea Patrol, which was in production from late 2006 to early 2007. His character is Petty Officer Chris Blake, the Coxswain of a fictional Royal Australian Navy Patrol Boat. The show debuted on Channel Nine on July 5, 2007.

Blue Heelers

Holmes starred as Constable Matthew "Matt" Graham on the now-defunct Seven Network Australian police drama series Blue Heelers. He made his first appearance in the Season 12 episode "Good Times" (#490). His role only lasted for twenty-one episodes, as the show was axed on January 13th, 2006; its finale was broadcast on June 4th, 2006.

All Saints
Before appearing on Blue Heelers, Holmes had a guest role on All Saints as Peter Sinclair, in the Season 8 episode "Time Bomb" (#305), which aired 26th April, 2005. BlackJack - The Trilogy
Holmes also appeared as Derek Chubb in two episodes of BlackJack - The Trilogy: episode 3, "BlackJack: In The Money", which aired in September 2005, and episode 4, "BlackJack: Ace Point Game", which aired 20th August, 2006.
