Mathias Feist is a ChessBase and Fritz programmer. He was hired at the end of the 1980s to port the ChessBase program from Atari ST to DOS. He soon became an expert in the area of chess engines and connecting them with the ChessBase and Fritz interfaces. Mathias is single and lives in the north German town of Tostedt.
