Martyn Paul Casey is an Australian rock bass guitarist, born in Perth, Australia. He is best known as a member of The Triffids in the 1980s, and of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds since the 1990s. He is also a member of Nick Cave's new band, Grinderman. Casey plays either his Fender Precision Bass or Fender Jazz Bass. When not touring he lives in Perth with his wife and children.
