Marissa Ann McMahon (née Mazzola) (born on July 4, 1973) in Boston, Massachusetts is the wife of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Executive Vice President of WWE Global Media Shane McMahon. She is considered the fifth member of professional wrestling's first family, the McMahons.

Early life and career

Mazzola was born in Boston, Massachusetts.When she was 14, she moved to Greenwich, Connecticut where she met her future husband Shane McMahon. Mazzola attended Greenwich Academy, a private all-girls school. On The Howard Stern Show she described herself as "the girl next door". Marissa started her World Wrestling Federation career in 1999 as the co-host of WWF Live Wire, she co-hosted along side Todd Pettengill, Michael Cole, and Jonathan Coachman until 2000. After her short time of co-hosting LiveWire Mazzola appeared in a brief role in the WWF co-produced film The Scorpion King as the bird merchant. She has worked directly with some of the WWF/E's biggest "superstars" such as Steve Austin, The Rock, and Chyna . Marissa also played an influential role in expanding the WWF through articles in various magazines. Mazzola was the manager of National Public Relations for the WWF until 2001. Mazzola now is a producer of the new film Anamorph. She has a film company called Kamala Films. Unlike all other members of the McMahon family, Marissa has never made a live ring appearance for any WWE show during her career with the WWE. However, Marissa did make an appearance at the 2004, 2005, and 2007 WWE Hall of Fame.

Personal life

Marissa is the daughter of Anthony Mazzola. On September 14, 1996,[1] Mazzola married her high-school sweetheart Shane McMahon in a private ceremony on the McMahon estate. Together they have two sons, Declan James born February 13, 2004[1] and Keynon Jesse born March 26, 2006.[1] They currently reside in a $4 million penthouse in New York. Marissa also has two brothers. Marissa is the daughter-in-law of World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon and WWE CEO Linda McMahon. She is also the sister-in-law of Stephanie McMahon-Levesque and WWE Superstar Triple H and was a bridesmaid in their October 25, 2003 wedding in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
