Mao Zemin (毛泽民, courtesy name Yǒnglián 咏莲) (April 03, 1896 - September 27, 1943) was communist leader Mao Zedong and Mao Zetan's brother. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1922 and acted as the head of the state bank of the Red State in Ruijin. He was killed by the warlord Sheng Shicai while at Xinjiang on September 27, 1943. His son, Mao Yuanxin, was important in Mao's last years.
