The Magic City Morning Star is a newspaper serving the Katahdin area of Maine, including Millinocket, East Millinocket, and Medway, Maine, as well as topics of statewide interest. The newspaper, founded in 2002, and based in Millinocket, utilizes a volunteer staff of citizen reporters and columnists from throughout the political spectrum. The Magic City Morning Star is owned by the Maine Free Press, LLC, which also publishes All Maine Matters, a conservative monthly newspaper distributed statewide.
