History

Early years

Up until 1975, the club played only in the Liga Gimmel which is the lowest league in the country.

Ligat ha'al

For the first time in its history, Ahi Nazareth was promoted to Israel's top league after finishing first in the Liga Leumit.

Sponsorship

Most of the clubs sponsorship is from local companies such as contractors etc.

Support

Support for Ahi Nazareth is small though they gained momentum when they were promoted to Israel's top league. During that season though the support they received shifted to fellow Arab club Bnei Sakhnin who were more successful than Nazareth.
