Flowers: pale yellow; corolla: multiple segments, small (1/16-3/16”). Inflorescence: clustered at the apex of a thin, green pedicle that turns reddish purple. The fruit develop so rapidly that flowers with a noticeably expanding ovary are part of the racemic flower head. These developing fruit can surround the flowers.
