Livingston Energy Flight is an airline based in Milan, Italy. It operates scheduled and charter services connecting major Italian cities to holiday destinations in the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Indian Ocean, Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Its main base is Malpensa International Airport, Milan [1].

History

The airline was established on 13 January 2003 and started operations in May 2003. Lauda Air Italy had been established in 1990 and was majority-owned by the Volante company, itself controlled by Niki Lauda, while the remaining sharers were with Gruppo Ventaglio. On 31 March 2003, Gruppo Ventaglio purchased Volante's share and integrated Lauda Air Italy with Livingston under the parent company Livingston Aviation Group. \It is wholly owned by Viaggi del Ventaglio Group and has 144 employees (at March 2007).[1].

Destinations

As of January 2007, Livingston Airlines flies scheduled and charter flights from Italy's main airports to destinations in the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.[2] These are the destinations served by Livingston according to their website as of January 2007. Most destinations are served from Milan, but a few are also served from Rome.

The Airbus fleet is maintained by Lufthansa Technik in FRA for A & C Checks. (Every 4 weeks A-Check & every 18 month C-Check). In December 2006, the Livingston fleet age was an average of 3.5 years old [3].
