It also airs English language international news from DW-TV in Germany, as well as various documentaries and world music videos. Link TV's stated mission is to:

  • Engage viewers with in-depth programs on issues of global importance.

Link TV was launched as a daily, 24-hour non-commercial network in 1999. It receives no money from satellite providers, but relies instead on contributions from viewers and foundations.
