Lilian Lee, also spelled as Lillian Lee (李碧華), is a Chinese novelist born in Taishan, Guangzhou. She is best known as the author of Farewell My Concubine, adapted as a movie by Chen Kaige. She is the author of about thirty books in her native Hong Kong. Several of her novels have been adapted into films:
