Leslie Glass (born Leslie Fisher on October 4, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland; died August 4, 2000 in Baltimore), was a model, erotic actress and animal rescuer. As described at her obituary at the age of 36, she was "best known as a Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up and Penthouse International Pet of the Year, model, exotic dancer, Vivid Films adult film star, and founder of Pet-4-Pets, an animal rescue and care organization". Leslie grew up in southwest Baltimore, graduated from Mercy High School and attended the Maryland Institute College of Art. She modeled for Merry-Go-Round stores and Pimlico Race Course and was a champion skateboarder who taught the sport to others. In 1982, at the age of nineteen, Leslie began serving as a bartender at Hammerjack's Concert Hall and Nightclub, a famous rock and roll-oriented nightclub and one of largest and most popular indoor bar venues on the east coast (since razed). Glass would frequently dress in sexy clothes, including lingerie, and dance on the bar; she quickly became one of the most popular bartenders. Throughout the 1980s, Leslie manned the most prominent bar in front of the concert stage that frequently featured acts such as Kix, Joan Jett, Ted Nugent, and Guns N' Roses. Later, she founded and managed a women's lingerie and bikini dance troupe that was a regular feature. Leslie became a feature dancer at Memories Strip Club in Dundalk, Maryland. From 1988 to 1992, Leslie travelled to Atlantic City to be a round card girl at boxing matches and was featured in a Playboy pictorial on the job. She attracted the notice of Penthouse magazine and became "Pet of the Month" in February 1992, was in the Penthouse Pet of the Year Playoffs in 1993 and in 1994 at the age of 31, became Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up. Signing with Vivid Video, Leslie filmed several girl-girl porn features with Janine, beginning with Vagablonde in 1994. Leslie was first diagnosed with breast cancer and made appearances on television and elsewhere to discuss the disease. In 1998, the cancer was diagnosed as having spread to her colon, liver and ovaries. Leslie fought for two years before succumbing on August 4 2000. Her death evoked a rare tribute piece from Penthouse magazine's normally unsentimental editors. In 1996, Leslie married Ghyslain Lacoste of Hollywood, Florida, who survives her.
