Leo Jones is a recurring fictional character in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, played by Reggie Yates. He is the younger brother of the Tenth Doctor's companion Martha Jones and of Tish Jones. His parents, Francine and Clive Jones are divorced. His cousin, Adeola Oshodi, died in "Army of Ghosts" (2006). He first appeared in "Smith and Jones" (2007) celebrating his 21st birthday. In the episode he is seen talking on the phone with a woman and a baby in the background. There has been no mention in the series to date to explain who the woman and child are and what their relationship to Leo is, comments on Martha's MySpace blog seem to indicate that they are his partner, Shonara and daughter, Keisha. They were not shown at Leo's birthday party that night when he left, chasing after his father. Leo returns in "The Lazarus Experiment" (2007) which sees Martha's first trip home since starting her travels in the TARDIS. It is the day after his birthday party and Leo is seen to be supportive of Martha's involvement with the Doctor, saying that she "has found a bloke." He suffers a concussion by shielding his mother when the Lazarus mutant launches a table in his direction. In "The Sound of Drums", he, Shonara and Keisha have gone on a trip to Brighton to stay with his friend Boxer. When the Master begins rounding up Martha's family (successfully arresting Tish, Clive, and Francine), Martha rings Leo to warn him he is in danger and recommends that he should not try to contact the rest of the family but instead stay in Brighton and hide. Despite his initial scepticism at her warnings, Leo takes Martha's advice and is still evading capture by the Master at the end of the episode. Leo is seen fleetingly in "Last of the Time Lords" back home with the Jones family. Unlike Francine, Clive, Martha and Tish, Leo will not remember the past year's events as he was not aboard the Valiant, ("the eye of the storm"), when time was rolled back. Not much is known about Leo, but Yates has stated in interviews that he is quite naughty, gets himself into a bit of trouble and is quite a masculine man.
