L.P. is a rock group from New York City, which consists of singer L.P. (her initials), guitarists Tony Finn and Josh Flagg, bassist Scott Kelliher, and drummer Scott Campbell. It has released two albums, Heart-Shaped Scar (2001) and Suburban Sprawl & Alcohol (2004). Their song "Wasted" is the theme song for the 2nd and 3rd seasons of South of Nowhere, which aired in 2006 and 2007 respectively. L.P. was signed to Island/DEF JAM Records in the spring of 2006. L.P., herself, spent the rest of that year, plus the beginning of 2007 writing new songs. In the spring of 2007, the band started recording a new album, tenatively due out early fall 2007.
