Kyle Dale Vanden Bosch (born November 17, 1978) is a National Football League defensive end for the Tennessee Titans.

He joined the Titans for in 2005 following four injury-plagued seasons with the Arizona Cardinals to start his career. He played college football at the University of Nebraska and during his senior year was a member of the prestigious senior honorary, the Society of Innocents. He went to high school at West Lyon High School of rural Inwood, Iowa.

NFL career

Arizona Cardinals

Kyle was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. Kyle was on injured reserve for the whole 2003 season.

Tennessee Titans

Vanden Bosch had a terrific 2005 season. Though the Titans still had a losing record, he ranked second in the American Football Conference and fourth in the NFL with 12.5 sacks during the season. In 2006, it was announced that Vanden Bosch would replace Miami Dolphins player Jason Taylor in the 2006 Pro Bowl, being the first Titans player on the AFC team. Steve McNair was also later added. On February 17, 2006 (only a week after his two sack performance in the Pro Bowl) it was announced that Vanden Bosch had agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans. The contract ties him to the Titans for 4 years. The deal gives him $14.5 million in guaranteed money ($5 million signing bonus, with guaranteed base salaries for 3 of the 4 years on the contract) and takes him off Free Agency. Kyle and his wife Lindsey have three children, a daughter and twin boys.
