Kris Holm is a Canadian best known for riding a unicycle in off-road conditions. With over 18 years of riding experience, he is one of the pioneers of mountain unicycling, and is the world's best known unicyclist. He founded Kris Holm Unicycles, his own brand of unicycles, in 1999 to help fill the gap in the market of unicycles designed for extreme unicycling.[1] He graduated from the University of British Columbia early in the 2000's, and as of 2005 was a sessional instructor there in geography.[2] Besides being a skilled and well known unicyclist, Holm is also an avid rock climber. He often takes his wife's dog, Brew, with him on unicycle rides. Holm has been featured in many films and has also appeared in most extreme unicycling movies. Kris Holm Unicycles is a manufacturer of high end unicycles (primarily aimed at Trials and Mountain Unicycling) and associated unicyclist equipment.
