Klan (pl. clan) is the longest-running Polish soap opera, one of the first to come into creation. It has been filmed since 1997 and is still running with over 1400 episodes. Now the 11th season is aired from Monday to Friday at 5.30 PM (polish time). Klan describes the fate of the Lubicz family. Although the soap opera is quite old, it is still popular. The show is broadcast four times a week by both TVP1 and TV Polonia. Episodes tend to last around 23 minutes.
