Kimberley Conrad (born August 6, 1962) is an American model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in January, 1988 and became Playmate of the Year 1989. Conrad was born in Alabama and raised in Nevada and British Columbia. The Canadian media have frequently reported that she is a B.C. native She is most known for marrying Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in 1989, an event which sparked worldwide media attention and, from most quarters, some disbelief that the promiscuous Hefner was serious about settling down. The comic strip Doonesbury referred to the event as the belated end of the 1970s. The marriage lasted 10 years and ended amicably; however Hugh and Kimberley are still legally married. The Hefners had two sons together: Marston (shares birthday with his father: 1990-04-09) and Cooper (1991-09-04). Kimberley is a vegetarian and has been the head of many vegetarian fundraisers.
