Kim Ann Gallagher (born June 11, 1964 in Philadelphia – died November 18, 2002 in Oreland) was an American track & field Olympian, who participated in two Summer Olympics: 1984 and 1988. Gallagher died in 2002 after her battle with stomach cancer at the age of 38, but not before she left her mark as one of the United States most outstanding Track & Field athletes.

Accomplishments

Gallagher was a High School All American at Upper Dublin High School, Penn Relays Champion, won twelve PIAA Gold Medals, and was a Pennsylvania State Champion in Track & Field and cross-country. Gallagher is now a member of the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Penn Relays Hall of Fame. ON November 19, 2005, Gallagher was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Upper Dublin High School as part of the inaugural class. Her mother and daughter accepted the award on her behalf.
