Kevin Burnett (born December 24, 1982 in Carson, California) is an American football player who is currently a linebacker for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
High school career
Burnett attended Dominquez High School in Compton, California. While there, in football, he was a member of the 1999 Prep Star All-America team,a second-team All-State choice, and a member of the "Best of the West" by the Long Beach Press-Telegram. He also helped lead his team to two consecutive playoff appearances. He is the cousin of NBA D-League star Amir Johnson.
