Kerry Norton (born in 1973 in Sunbury, Middlesex) is an English actress. Earlier in her life, Norton was a budding gymnast. Norton is married to English actor Jamie Bamber Griffith, and they have three daughters: Isla Elizabeth Angela Griffith, and twins Darcy and Ava. She has two sisters, Jackie and Lorraine (married to Surrey cricketer Martin Bicknell) and a brother named Matthew. In 2005 she recorded an album of covers, titled Young Heart. Track number three ("Everlasting Love") has also been used in a commercial for Grolsch Brewery. Recently she made a guest appearance on Battlestar Galactica (where her real-life husband plays Major Lee 'Apollo' Adama) as Paramedic Layne Ishay. Paramedic Layne Ishay saves Commander Adama's life when shot by Sharon "Boomer" Valeri. She was in the first three episodes of season 2, and a later episode entitled "Downloaded". She also appeared in the season 3 episode "Taking a Break from All Your Worries". She also played the leading role of Anne Alstein in The Screwfly Solution. Previously she played the part of Maxi Purvis in Bad Girls' third and fourth series.
