Ker Karraje is a fictional character in Jules Verne's novel Facing the Flag. He is a high tech pirate financing a mad scientist type genius's development of a new explosive of enormous destructive power. Karraje is a prototype for various other sophisticated pirate characters, such as Don Karnage of TaleSpin animated series and Peter Garin of The Hyperboloid of Engineer Garin novel by Alexey Tolstoy.
