Keith Russell "Mister" Jennings (born November 2 1968 in Culpeper, Virginia) is an American basketball coach, and former professional basketball player in the NBA. Jennings, a 5' 7" point guard, attended East Tennessee State University (1987-1991) and spent three seasons in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors (1992-95), playing in 164 games and averaging 18.0 MPG, 6.6 PPG and 3.7 APG. He was selected by the Toronto Raptors in the 1995 expansion draft, but did not play for them. For the 1996/97 season he has signed with the Denver Nuggets, but did not appear in any regular season games for them, after a major knee injury in an exhibition game. He also played professionally in France (Le Mans, Strasbourg), Russia (St. Petersburg) and Turkey (Fenerbahçe). Jennings won the 1991 Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award, given to the most outstanding collegiate senior six feet and under. He also led the NCAA Division I that year in three point goals, shooting 59 percent. From 2004-2007, he was the head coach of the boys varsity basketball team at the private Highland School in Warrenton, Virginia. Jennings has joined the staff at his alma mater East Tennessee State as an assistant coach for the 2007-2008 season.
