Kawasaki (川崎町; -machi) is a town located in Shibata District, Miyagi, Japan. As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 10,512 and a density of 38.82 persons per km². The total area is 270.80 km². The town was the site of a major battle of the Zenkunen War, in 1057.
