Jungle Records is a British-based record label formed in 1982, specializing in classic punk rock & post punk releases. They recorded albums by Johnny Thunders such as 'Copy Cats' (with Patti Palladin) and 'Que Sera Sera' and are licensors of the classic Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers tape library, including their seminal L.A.M.F. album. They are licensors of the French legendary Skydog label, and discovered and made the first recordings by Mercury Rev and Fields of the Nephilim. They have also released recordings by Alternative TV, Iggy Pop, & The Stooges, MC5, Sky Saxon, & The Seeds, The Newtown Neurotics, Jimi Hendrix, Play Dead, UK Subs, The Adicts, Broken Bones, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, A Popular History Of Signs,New York Dolls, Test Dept, March Violets, Flamin Groovies, Nina Simone, Kim Fowley, Family Fodder, Christian Death, Specimen, The Slits, Wasted Youth, Ducks Deluxe, ex-Spacemen 3 Sterling Roswell, ex-Dr. Feelgood guitarist & songwriter Wilko Johnson, Nephilim off-shoot NFD, and many others.
