John Henderson Burnett (born November 1, 1904 in Bartow, Florida - August 12, 1959), is a former professional baseball player who played shortstop in the Major Leagues from 1927-1935. He set the record for most hits in a game with nine, when he went 9 for 11 in 18 innings on July 10, 1932.
