John Devaney, is the Chairman of NATS Holdings Ltd (National Air Traffic Services) and Telent plc, formerly known as Marconi plc, Marconi Corporation plc and the The General Electric Company (GEC). He is the Chairman of Tersus Energy plc, a finance & strategic advisory business; founder and Chairman of BizzEnergy, the UK's largest independent electricity retailer; and Chairman of Ergo Finance LLP. He was previously the Chairman of Liberata UK Ltd, Exel plc, and EA Technology; Executive Chairman of Eastern Electricity and Kelsey-Hayes; and a non-executive director of HSBC Bank and British Steel. Devaney is an alumnus of Sheffield University (B.Eng 1968) and a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Programme.
