Jody Cortez is a drummer who once played drums for Cinderella. He replaced drummer Jim Drnec and was replaced by drummer Fred Coury shortly after the recording of Cinderella's Night Songs. He played on Night Songs, but Fred Coury was in the album photo and listed as a band member in the liner notes because he was by then a member of the band in much the same way that Steve Riley was in L.A. Guns's first album's band photo and liner notes even though Nickey "Beat" Alexander played drums on that album.
