"Jessie"
Single by Joshua Kadison
from the album Painted Desert Serenade

"Jessie" is a hit Piano rock single from the album Painted Desert Serenade, released in 1993. The song was performed by Joshua Kadison who wrote the song dealing with the break-up with the actress Sarah Jessica Parker. This song is often incorrectly attributed to the late John Denver or sometimes Elton John. That's because the "piano rock" style of the tune and Joshua's vocals sounds very much like Elton's. The song was covered by Netherlands teen star Jim Bakkum (of Idols fame).
