Jean-Paul de Jong (born 17 October 1970) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays for FC Utrecht. De Jong is a midfielder who was born in Utrecht and made his debut in professional football, being part of the VfL Osnabrück squad in the 1992-93 season. He joined FC Utrecht in the 1993-94 season and never played for any other club since. In total he played 370 Eredivisie matches for FC Utrecht in which he scored a total of 11 times. This achievement gave him the nickname "Mr. FC Utrecht". With 83 yellow cards he is recordholder in the history of the Eredividie.
